Adorable little German Bakery that has been in business since 1952.

The Doughnuts selections I chose for today's tasting are ( From Top Left to Right)

Sugared Jelly:* Jelly filling was very nice and robust in flavor and texture, Dough was a little heavy,not enough air, and tad oily.

Powdered Jelly:* Overloaded with Powdered Sugar, filling and dough was the same as above.

Vanilla Frosted Cake: ** very nice batter, good moisture, tasty frosting not overly sweet. Lard was clean in flavor. Good with a cup of coffee.

Double Chocolate Cake:** Frosting was amazing, Cake batter was a bit dry, Unusual for Chocolate cake VS Vanilla Cake. would go better with a hot beverage.

Glazed: ** Nice batter, could be a bit lighter, may be better fresh and hot, samples were obtained at 10am. Not overly glazed. a little dense. Over all a good glazed doughnut.

Sugar Raised ( Same batter as Glazed but Sugared instead )** 1/2. Very nice, a good pull to the dough elasticity, not too sweet, My favorite of the tasting.

Over all I give Weinrich's Bakery 3 Stars, they were polite, clean and quaint.
I would also like to mention that next door they have an awesome cafe called The Kaffeehaus.

They serve a variety of Tea, coffee and espresso beverages, and you can hang out in their very comfy cafe which also provides free WiFi.
